When was the last time that you looked up at night sky? Did you see the sky through holes between skyscrapers? Were streetlights interrupting your view or did you see the night sky far away from the city lights? Could you see the endless screen of darkness peppered with little dots of light from millions of miles away, yet visible in such a majestic view every cloudless night? Such a gorgeous view always makes me stop for a moment and think. God is such a powerful God that He created those stars, arranged those constellations, and gave us our moon to beautify our nights. Psalm 8 talks about how amazingly powerful God is, but He put us, His much weaker creations, to guide and protect His animals as a king would his people. God loves us so much that not only does He create wonders of nature to see during the day, but He also created the wondrous night sky to beautify our nights. What an awesome love that must be!
